I think it would would be better if we had the option to use the joy stick thing on the left, the D-Pad and motion controls. That way Nintendo would be covering everyone's preference of playing.

Personally, I'd be using the D-Pad.

@Jay Be epic if we could plug a GameCube controller into a 3DS. [Derp] It'll never happen. I actually played MKW and Brawl with GC controllers. :O

Agreed, I miss doing that even though it used to violate the skin on my thumbs, I wonder how this technique will go using the 3DS analogue stick.

I don't know whether I'll like this.
Mario Kart 64 was amazing.
Great mechanics, great items, great tracks.
Double Dash and Mario Kart Wii just never did the same for me.
But Mario Kart DS is just 64 cept with more things and online play.

It was the perfect Mario Kart game, how are they going to top that?

But, on a serious note, MK 64 was a fantastic game and would be hard to top.
I hope they put in some retro tracks from previous instalments.

No, I didn't find it as enjoyable either. I found Mario Kart DS was a whole lot better.

I played it back when it came on Virtual console. But then again, I suppose playing too much Mario Kart Double Dash and DS would change my judgment a bit.

I dunno how this will go since it has gyro and if you move the 3DS (like for gyro) it looses the 3D effect. -_- [Shifty]

There's your problem. Definitely a had to play it at the time, not on VC, type of game.

Miyamoto has confirmed they'll be getting this out before the end of the year! They really are pulling out all the first party titles this year.

Yeah, I guess so. But then again, I enjoyed Super Mario Kart more, but that was a few years ago with my mates on a SNES.

Hideki Konno has said that Nintendo want to bring alot of new elements to Mario Kart 3D, wonder what they could be. He said they might be shown at E3 too.
