Personally, I'm just happy they're keeping tricks. It felt great to do a FREAKING BARREL ROLL!!! whenever you jumped off an edge. A BARREEEEELL ROLL! =_=

The 3D? I think it's to show off the gyro controls, not the 3D. They can do that when you can see everything from a normal point of view.
