This is discussion for the Nintendo conference/event being held on the 13th of this month in which Nintendo will probably announce a few things along with babble on about sales.

Like last year they'll be live streaming it, and probably put a English translated version on their site a day later. So, what are we all hoping for to be announced there?

I hope for a new Pokemon game to be announced. Also, I hope that they announce a 'legacy' series of old gamecube/N64 titles being re-released for the 3DS/Wii U.

I seem to remember last years focusing on the 3DS, so I'm hoping they focus on the WiiU more this year. Maybe they'll announce it's playable at the event and others around the world, or something along those lines, like they did the 3DS.

Would time in pretty well with the Nintendo Connection Tour too, but that's just wishful thinking on my part I suppose.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Majoras Mask remake for the 3DS... As long as Grezzo make it again so it doesn't take away from any major Zelda games that Nintendo are making [MOG]
I also wouldn't be surprised if they announce a new model of the 3DS, even this early in its life.

Awesome I didn't know about this. I want to see some fresh need looks for some classic franchises, also wouldn't mind seeing something totally new from Nintendo.

As much as I like the old stuff I do not want to see anymore remakes. I got most of these old games which I love, so I want to see something new.

I do agree on having more new titles, but I'd welcome a few more remakes if they were of games I loved. But after this year I think it'll be a bit over the top if I don't see many more original titles appear on the system.

Really want a Majora's Mask remake. :( Haven't played it yet and trying to play it would only hurt my eyes. X_X

Wouldn't mind more info on Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing too. :D

I'm personally the minority who thinks Majoras Mask should stay as is, a remake would actually ruin what it was to me and take away the dark feeling the game had.

I might elaborate on this in a blog soon, but for now I'll just say that.

I'd love a new Luigis Mansion trailer! I want to see more of the mansions in-game!

But Tsunamo, a remake wouldn't do anything to change the original game! You can still play it on the N64 or Wii as much as you want. If you're that worried about the remake hurting the game for you, then don't buy it.

I'd love to hear them announce Majora's Mask 3D, it would look beautiful with remastered graphics and the 3D would look so cool and creepy when putting on the transformation masks or watching the moon. Imagine tilting your 3DS up to look at the sky and there's that moon in 3D staring down at you.

majoras mask 3d might as well be confirmed

in OoT3D after beating MQ a MM title is shown. And I can't remember who from nintendo said it, but they said if there's enough fan support for a 3D remake it will happen.

that said i can't imagine there WONT be enough support, so it should be expected eventually.

It's not so much that, it's just I found that with Ocarina of Time they really made the world look more beautiful and vibrant, and it took away a bit of the creepyness and scariness the Nintendo 64 version had for me when I originally played it (especially ganon)

Majoras Mask is one of the darkest tales in the Zelda series, and I really feel that if they were to remake it the darkness of the story and world in Majoras Mask will be taken out with them making the world more colourful and bright.

I suppose I'm just fearful of them taking away from a game which really was special because of how dark a game it was compared to other Zeldas. I just really can't picture Grezzo/Nintendo making the world in Majoras Mask more scary than it already is on the 3DS, but I suppose if they made Ocarina of Times world look more vibrant and come more to life, they could do the opposite with Majoras Mask.

This is completely my opinion though. There's a few reasons I think a remake/remastering would be good and why it'd be bad.

Edit: This is a rumored list of titles to be shown at the event for 3DS, sounds like a pretty good lineup if you ask me.

A Yoshi side scroller for 3DS, developed by Good-Feel.
New game from WarioWare team.
Etrian Odyssey 3DS
Hatsune Miku 3DS, contains all songs from Project DIVA 1 and 2.
New 3DS color: solid silver.
Presentation on eShop demos; Super Mario Land 3D will have a downloadable demo.
The “new project” from Alchemist, the famous visual novel company, is an entirely new “moe mystery” for 3DS.
Ace Attorney 5, will supposedly include an Edgeworth scenario. AA: Investigations being phased in to main series?

Same! The feeds probably wont provide translation, but last year Nintendo had a translated version up on their Japanese site after a few hours, so I think they'll do the same this year.
