lol. I doubt it'll happen, but wouldn't putting link in a time where there's steam trains also put him in a time with guns?

I'm kinda hoping they go back to Vaati on the handheld games.. i liked the whole "Vaati the reason why Gannon is released again" story line, which phantom hourglass lacked. That being said, what ever they do will be much enjoyed..

i doubt they'd go back to vaati, cause isnt minishcap cronilogically the first zelda in the timeline? Spirit tracks looks like it might be set after twilight princess maybe. not sure though

That is true, however Vaati did appear twice in the timeline after as well, so theres no real saying whether or not hed reappear. seeing how this is a new zelda NOT on the home console (usually they have been made in the order of console, handheld, console) my thoughts at the moment are that maybe Vaati will reappear in this game, setting free gannon as usual, new zelda on console.

these are just my thoughts at the moment.

So to sum up, Minish Cap followed by Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures. Though they are "multiplayer" based, they have a solid story to them that in turn is connected to the entire time line.

For example Minish Cap is apparently the first zelda game in the story line (which is quite reasonable as it is the story of how Link became a hero and claimed his cap.) In that game, you hear of how Vaati came to power. (i have never finished four swords) however in four swords adventures (on the gamecube which i HAVE completed) Vaati again rises to power and releases gannon.

something like that.. "the seal on Vaati weakened over time" as it said in the story section in one of the instruction booklets

and if youve played minish cap, he was a minish, who grew to love power and desired it. when he got it he became evil and yeah thats how the story begins
