360 in Japan

Hi guys,

I am currently in Japan, to my surpise, 360 only occupied like one single shelf in the back of the building. Where DS Lite, PSP, PS2 occupied most of the shop... It was really weird.

I just played in a 1 hour Death match with the Japanese, well 8 of em anyway.
No idea how live works with PDZ, but there I was in a massive game!
They were really skilled far more so than any other lot I have played. This was a game of waiting a sniping!!!!!! Best death match eva

Yeh thats true, the launch of both xbox and xbox 360 was a kind of failure for xbox the belived that they were going to sell way more than they had.

the Japs arent too friendly with most US products. They really support their local industries and companies, if it isnt Sony or Nintendo it aint gonna do too well.

I heard thats the reason we had a delayed release over here cause they sent all the consoles to Japan and they didnt even buy them so they just sat there on the shelves while we missed out (for the time being). the 360 wanted to get in long before the PS3

Actually... Neoarfter, you might have it completely wrong because "uncle bill" wants more money... now the great thing about australia + japan is that you can ship stuff easier , faster and cheaper!

So in turn with the termanation of the japanese market... us "useless" australians may lose some 360'nes.... But i may be wrong

Why would there be so many Japanese companies making games for the 360 like 'Over G Fighter' if they weren’t interested in the consoles?

I don't think you guys realize how much input the Japanese have had with the 360.

Why should that be a surprise we do the same with Australian Owned products or at least try to.

you do realise that this thread hasn't been used for almost 3 years, in that time the 360 has sold out several times in Japan due to various game releases
