Word around the internet, from sources within DSE, is that it's legit. They are getting out of gaming since it makes them no money and this is just to clear their stock.

The girl I spoke to today said it is happening, but she said the date was the 11th not the 2nd. Which has been mentioned as the date that they will start advertising the sale to give them time to price the stock properly. So I will still try to purchase them on the monday, if somehow the dates a wrong I'll be back on the 11th, lol

I just cant understand say, the Logitech G19's for $40? Seriously- $40- even at cheapest retail they are still $150 and that's an AWESOME deal...

$40? It probably costs Logitech more to make them! I just cannot believe it... It seems fishy and unrealistic. Games and such sure, I can see them being sold for $5, $10 dollars but a "Relatively new" keyboard that still retails on the Logitech site for $299.. for $40.

I've also heard they are changing their focus to more casual games. So maybe they'll only stock stuff like Wii Fit.

I think it'll come back to this in the end.

I don't think you can go up to them and bitch that you saw it for X price but it's still for Y price and if they ask for you to prove it you just show a stupid image of a price list that might not have even be finalised.

Then they burst their party poppers in your face and shout out APRIL FOOLS. -_-

Then they have an easter day sale at more logical prices not something absurd as leasha mentions.

I mean they should be able to easily get sales at 25-50% off still but I think some of the prices are easily going over 50% off.

This reminds me of when Catch of the day was offering PS3s for $199. The site had overwhelming traffic and they only had about 150 on sale Australia-wide.

I think the online store will be super laggy and have lots of web traffic, to the point where it may not be getting through.

$40 for that keyboard is very realistic. For starters it's not reletively new. Its been out for quite a few years now and to make a keyboard would cause jack all. Probably wouldnt cost that much to make them at all

I want a 360, but I think they'll be sold out. Upon closer inspection it's the 250GB S model, which has been discontinued for some time. It's now only bundled with Kinect, so not sure how many they'll have left without it.

That has nothing to do with how much dse buys them for, especially in Australia.
