[MMGN] New Release - July 29th

Hi Guys,

We deployed a new release of MMGN today.

In this release:
• PC.mmgn.com... has a new background!
• Buy/Trade/Sell forum threads will not be shown on the home page
• Buy/Trade/Sell forum threads is now located at the bottom of the Forums page
• Previews option in News
• Better PM Timestamps
• Linked Games (if a game is present on multiple consoles, it is linked)
• Mobile Prompts - if you visit the full site using a Mobile device (iPhone / iPod / Android), you will be prompted to visit the mobile version of the site
• Bug Fix: Global > Local threads, when a thread is moved from a global forum to a local forum, the thread is no longer global

Let us know of any issues :)

@Ramzez - ps3 browser is broken again? we fixed it a few days ago, i will fix it tomorrow if it is broken again. Try to clear your cache if you haven't already

hmm something wrong with News Preview, it will be fixed tomorrow, it is admin only for now.

There appears to be a mild glitch with PM's. Mine is reading as having 1 unread message, but it does not show at all in my list of messages...ie previously, it (the new/unread message) would have 'New' against it, a useful easy location feature, which appears to have vanished since the update.
I did manage to find the unread message, but only through instinct and searching through....there were no visual clues as to where the unread one was.....if that makes any sense!
Just a minor thing, but important nonetheless.

I'll confirm the above bug. If it makes any difference, the PM I am unable to see was a response to something I sent first.

Just in case this is the case for you guys too, enter your last few sent messages and see if there is a response in there.

Okay, I did that and it appeared to work just fine. Try looking at your last few sent messages.

My guess is that when you receive a response to a sent message, it doesn't deem it as a new message that should be put in your inbox, or something like that. Hence, the only way to read the message is to go through your 'Sent' box.

I can confirm I sent a message to another user through the 'New Message' link and they received it fine.
