Thanks. I hope it's nothing too expensive as well. The main thing is that no one was in the car with me.
Will found out more tomorrow when I have some light to see what I'm doing.

shit, thats horrible. At least everyone is alright though. hopefully the damage is not too bad. that shakings not good either, happened to my car and it turned out something that connects the wheel or something was extremely loose and had to be tightened.

Dude thats bad news man, sounds like it has cracked under the front spoiler...hence the rattling




The front spoiler is broken but repairable, at quick glance it looks like some of the clips of the fog light surround have broken off. I just cleaned it then since it was off the car, might have to dodgy it up some how because replacing it will be a bitch. First off HSV bodykit parts have to special ordered and they cost more and second that section of the bumper has been custom painted and I have none of that paint left :E I had heaps but the container it was in had a hole so it dried up.
As I was driving off to collect that game from a seller on Gumtree I noticed my mechanic was still open so I popped in and explained to him what the car was doing he thinks I have buckled a wheel or threw it off balance by knocking off one of the counter weights. The car drives normally and in a straight line until about 70 KPH then the steering starts to shake. He told me to pull all the wheels off and clean all the mud out of there and around the brakes, then test it again then go to tyre place and get an alignment and tyre balance. Fingers crossed it's just a balance/alignment issue then all I have to worry about is the body kit.
I was pretty lucky that I managed to keep the car from hitting anything. If I get a chance I'll go back to the scene and take a photo of where my skid marks were and you'll see how close I came to writing it off.
