I like how the sprites are actually moving in battle. Makes it look less boring after the attack has been made. Also, it feels very expanded now with the way they're updating the graphics.

Yeah they are pretty crappy ay? Although I do think the grass starter is pretty snazzy lookin for a change. I wouldn't go counting your chickens before they hatch though guyz, I bet the final evolutions are sick - especially the grumpy pig!!!

That's the only thing that's still keeping my interest until I decide to skip all of them and find my real starter. It better not be like Hoenn, craptastic looking starters even in their third stages.

I don't totally agree, mainly because sceptile is a Dragon (pokemon not type!). Nah not just that Blaziken is awesome, as it has some great moves...... the same can't be said for sceptile and swampert however. As for battling, no starters are ever that great.

Swampert > Blaziken > Sceptile, but all are good at what they do...

I just can't wait for the new pokemon to be released. I think gamefreak really need to step up their game and design pokemon that are more on the cool and strong side rather than the cute/beutiful side like they have in the past.

Pokemon like Scizor, Salamence and Metagross are the benchmarks that need to be matched or beaten, if the next gen of pokemon are going to be successful.

Did I say all pokemon should be like Scizor, Salamence and Metagross? No I don't think they should, just more. Because if all we've got out of 4 Generations and over 400 hundred pokemon, is 50 or so good ones then I think we are being let down. I know pre-evolutions come into that total, but it still doesn't look that good.

Despite some early indications, I personally think they will get it right. Especially with HG & SS not being too ground breaking - although they were'nt meant to be I spose.
