So from the approval of Luke, I decided to make a [Official Cricket Thread] where you can talk about CRICKET!, from Domestic Cricket to International Cricket. What you all think about this IPL , the aussies players that were picked are getting some crazy money for 6 weeks work. Andrew Symonds got signed for 1.45mil , even state players like David Hussey are on $800,000 plus, thats pretty sweet pay rates. Anyone gonna follow the tournament & follow a team ? I'll proberly go for the team Gilly is with

David Hussey's on $650G's, while Mike is only on $330G's. Lucky him

Its not surprising David Hussey gets that much Did any of you see him in the domestic game against NSW? Strike rate of almost 200, he hit at least 10 6's!

David Hussey has the 20/20's down pat. All that experience in the UK has obviously helped a bunch. He's also pretty handy with the ball, so you can see his worth.

Wonder how long it will take for these money hungry cricketers to quit playing for Australia and move over there....

Hmmmm well i can fix that

Lee deserves it, but sometimes i think he is trying to bowl too fast 145 - 150km is his proper controllable speed, but he often goes 155km + and bowls with less control

Hayden was the only guy who loked like he was in good form to me Sure, symonds got 30 odd runs but he didnt look that comfortable to me

The bowling from the Aussie's was kinda flat too, less pace and too many bad balls!

Maybe replace Hogg with Stuart Clark? Hogg tends to be a little expensive, although if we did, we would weaken out batting line up EVEN MORE!!!!!
