"QANTAS has grounded its entire domestic and international fleet of aircraft and will lock out all staff involved in its industrial dispute from Monday night.

"This is an unprecedented move. It comes in the middle of a bitter dispute with staff and will strand thousands of passengers in Australia and around the world."

Qantas haven't had a single fatal incident, and I believe are the only major Airline in the world to not have.

But can you blame him dude?

This is what this sort of action does to a brand. The airline has probably lost so many corporate accounts, and why? Because it is unsafe and deadly?

No, because strike actions ultimately led to grounded flights. There was nothing actually wrong with the planes or service (unless you want to compare...)

That sort of mentality is rife atm. Qantas has been an Aussie icon for decades, and is set to go down the gurgler.

hopefully they sort this mess out soon as I'll be flying with them in JAN and my girlfriend in DEC for our domestic leg.

BTW, I wouldn't mind being stuck in perth on a summers day.

People who think Perth suck haven't spent enough time there or have spent too long there (and haven't gone anywhere) to realise what a great place it is to live and explore.
