Review: Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver Review

News: Rare Pikachu Available in Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSiver in April

Australian Release: Out Now

Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver are enhanced remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver in development by Game Freak for the Nintendo DS. Like the originals, HeartGold and SoulSilver will be set in the fictional Johto region. In a similar fashion to the Pikachu in Pokémon Yellow, HeartGold and SoulSilver allow any Pokémon to follow the player in the overworld depending on their proximity to the player.

Dude, I have really good news about this.

1: All 492 (493? I forget) Pokemon can follow you.
2: Kanto will re-appear.
3: Contests may have been taken out (I don't know), but there is an Olympic Event known as Pokethelon which consists of mini-games using your Pokemon.
4: The Red Gyarados will come back in the Lake of Rage at Lvl 30.

I so can't wait.

Yes, even water Pokemon follow you, and the earliest pics of HGSS show a Steelix following you.

dam im really tempted to buy the japaneese version but itl get confusing so im going to wait till it comes out in english.
ive played up to the 1st gym leader on heart gold and i could play more but i dont wanna spoil it and make the game boring when i get it
