COP: The Recruit characters listed

In COP you are put into the shoes of Dan Miles, a previous street racer and recent recruit into the Criminal Overturn Program (C.O.P.)

Due to the terms of COP Dan has become a street detective working to protect New Yorkers from high scale threats of violence. His mentor Brad Winter is then wrongly accused of multiple terrorist attacks and put behind bars. As the mission is put on the waiting list, Dan goes back to his life before, undercover of course, and step by step gets involved in an extremely dangerous conspiracy and has to stop a possibly deadly attack on New York!

1) Jimmy Vartanian

Jimmy is in charge of the local mob. The mob is not violent but are instead clever businessmen who are keen to exploit the city's weaknesses. He technically earns money by disposing of NY's garbage, but earns extra cash by providing good transport for stolen goods inside the garbage trucks.

2) Isgo Vartanian

Jimmy's younger brother. He's the owner of the mob's bar, "Isgo's Well' in Brooklyn. Using his brother's large business he imports sportcars to the U.S.A. He's in love with racing and is obsessed with teasing the cops in their old cars.

3) Crimp

Crimp is the most trusted informant of Winter's. He has a way of knowing everything illegal going down on the streets. He's really a better set of eyes, making sure you always know what your targets are plotting. No one is sure what Crimp does when he's not helping the Police, and he enjoys it that way.

4) Casey Winter

Detective Winter's little sister is a very shy person who is not able to easily trust people she doesn't know well, including friends of her brother. When you first met her she wasn't sure about you, but now you think she might be interested in you, but will your criminal past get int he way?

5)Marty

Marty is your oldest friend. You were brought up in New Jersey and you two together became interested in street racing. Then you were taken to the COP program. Marty is now an expert at fixing cars and has a workshop on Long Island.

6) The Rev

Some like to call him the leader of the pack, the man in charge of Speed'n Bleed, the street racing club that is well known for going further than anyone else. He manages his club like a cult, good cars are worshipped and only the best drivers are initiated and race next to him as a brother.

7) Detective Brad Winter

A high up agent at CCD, Winter arrested you for being part of street racing and carrying a weapon illegally. You and him got on well straight from the beginning, despite having different views on the law. He persuaded the higher ups to make you an official part of COP because you reminded him of himself in his younger days.

8) Captain Gilroy

In charge of the CCD. The most experienced cop was the one who founded the CCD after being promoted from the regular police department. He never was into it enough to rise any higher and now he's secluded.

9) Lieutenant Strickland

Lieutenant Strickland has the best record in the whole department. She graduated first at police school, and was the youngest lieutenant before being brought up higher superceding Winter who was once her boss. With Dan being assigned as her CCD trainee she's being tough on him and needs everything to be done perfectly, or she comes down like a hammer.

10) Dan Miles (You)

A new recruit to COP, you are a former street racer and you chose to become part of the CCD rather than serve gaol time. As a teenager your love of cars and danger got you taken into street racing with you best friend Marty. You thank Brad Winter who won your freedom for you and now you're willing, if not determined to pay him back for showing faith in you with your ability to fight crime.
