New MyMedia Sites 7.0 Update!

As many of you know new MyMedia sites are coming, starting this January. First off will be MyPS3, coming tomorrow January 6 sometime around 3-4pm. MyPS3 7.0 will be more usable as well as more stable, make sure you're around tomorrow to check it out!

Keeping you up to date, MyWii will be updated next, hopefully late next week. A week later the new PC site will be launched!

In MyMedia's first Retro-Grade segment, Tano, Guyver and Heller discuss the Super Nintendo and some of its best and worst titles and some of the add-ons that made the console so special. They discuss some of their most memorable moments on the console, as well as their favourite games. From Super Metroid to Donkey Kong Country and Star Fox, The Voice's Retro-Grade brings you back to the era's of gaming that defined the industry.

World of Goo Review

World of Goo is what WiiWare is all about, it is one of the best games to appear on the Wii this year, and thoroughly deserves its serious contentions for Wii game of the year in numerous awards. It’s amazing to think that a development team of just three people put this all together, and they ought to have the support of gamers so they can continue to produce such wonderful games. 2D Boy has raised the bar for what we expect to see on the service in the future. Check out our review of one of the best games to arrive on Wii during 2008.

Feel like doing a little research for some medals? Yep that's right medals, up for grabs is a set of 5 retro controller medals that can grace you profiles if you're willing to do a little Googling to answer a number of questions. Detailed instructions will be given when these medal threads start appearing so don't stress about it too much for now. A new medal will open every week until the series is complete, so when you see the medal threads appear get cracking to ensure you'll have the entire set. Nintendo Wii - Best of the Best 2008 As one of the greatest years in the history of gaming comes to close, we have decided to attempt to bundle together the best Nintendo Wii games of 2008 and come up with a definitive list of the best of the best. The month of October right through to the end of November was a time of great hardship for gamers, as they searched their abodes for anything of monetary value to sell that could pay for their gaming needs. MyMedia Retrospective - Apple Pippin

Long before Apple was renowned for their stylish computers and hugely successful iPods, they took a lunge at the gaming market by releasing the Apple Pippin in the mid nineties. Not wanting to tackle this endeavour on its own Apple teamed up with Japanese toy manufacture Bandai who at the time were keen on entering the videogame market them selves. Katz Media also joined the team to produce the Pippin platform with Katz and Bandai investing their own money into manufacturing the Pippin in a similar fashion as to how the 3DO was produced. Check out the retrospective!

PS3 Hard Drive Change Over

After you have downloaded some demos, PSN games, installed a few installation data packs and added various media your PS3 hard drive starts to show its limits. It doesn’t matter what version of PS3 you have, extra storage space can always come in handy and upgrading to a larger capacity hard drive couldn’t be simpler.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts Review & Video Review

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts is a welcomed return for the charming heroes. The story is outrageously fun, the gameplay is addictive and engaging and it still maintains plenty of the charm that the series is known for. There are some minor issues, such as a fluctuating framerate and controlling issues with the vehicles, but overall, Nuts and Bolts is a more than worthy addition to the franchise. Check out the featured review.
