Mario Tennis Open will include both co-operative and competitive online and local wireless multiplayer.
Mario Tennis Open will also include an online leaderboard, featuring the best players of the month, your Open Match standing, and award you a medal for every victory.
StreetPass can be used to compete against other players in mini-games long after you've met their Mii. You will be able to face off in Ring Shot challenges against computer-controlled versions of the Mii data.
The game will also include a number of unlockable characters, including Luma, Baby Mario and Dry Bowser. However, some of these will only be available special QR Codes.
