Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has capped a stellar first quarter of the fiscal 2012-13 year for Ubisoft, with revenue up 27.2 percent.
The publisher posted sales of €131 million (approx. AUD 154.3 million) for the period, up from €103 million (approx. AUD 121.3 million) the year before.
The increase was largely attributed to higher than expected sales of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
"With 335 nominations and more than 160 awards at E3 2012, Ubisoft reaped the rewards of its pro-active strategy in the Core segment and demonstrated its strong comeback in this category," said Ubi CEO Yves Guillemot.
"Assassin's Creed 3 won numerous Game of the Show awards, Far Cry 3 and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist made a big impression at the event, and our two new brands Watchdogs and ZombiU set social networks alight."
