Mario Golf: World Tour Australian release date confirmed

Mario will make his grand return to the golf course after a shocking 10 year absence. The Game Boy Advance’s Mario Golf: Advance Tour is the most recent to be released in 2004, which comes as a surprise as I always thought golf was Mario’s sporting strength, alongside tennis.

Mario Golf: World Tour will be released in Australia and New Zealand on May 3, 2014.

As well as multiplayer, the Castle Club will help solo players hone their skills across tournaments, a practice area and even a cafe.

So no RPG mode then. :(
niccccccce
No RPG story mode = no sale.
RPG modes are superfluous in a Mario sports title. They're not needed.

It was my favourite mode in the older Mario sport games and any I've played since without it I haven't put much time into.

To me they seem shallow without it although this could be different.
To the best of my knowledge, RPG modes were only inclusive in about 2-3 titles.

Everyone has their thing, I guess. I played the shit out of Mario Golf 64, but invested very little in Mario Golf for the GBC (or GBA, I forget...)

Either way, I'm very, very excited for this. Golf is my favourite Mario sports game (if you don't include Kart).
Geeeez, has it really been that long? I am baffled as to why they skipped the Wii.

Same, Mario Golf + Wii remote seems so obvious.
