Famitsu has recently shared some information on the upcoming Wii U game, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (known as
Monster Hunter 3G HD Ver. in Japan).
The game will run in full 1080p HD with 5.1 LPCM surround sound. The Wii U Gamepad screen will be based on the 3DS version of the game (released in Japan late last year).
The game will have online multiplayer, or local play with up to 3 3DS systems. A free eShop app will be released alongside the game to handle transferring save data between the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is releasing for the Wii U and 3DS in March.
