101 in 1 Explosive Megamix - 9 / 10

I for one am a big fan of big 101 in 1 games. They're cheaper than buying all those games, but then again, these are minigames - they're not lots of games. I got this for christmas last year, and I haven't seen a review on here.

It is a casual gamers game, so it fits most of the DS's "style". The games are short, fun and can be repeated with different results of the game every time. The game requires some level of skill, no button mashing here, and you don't have an hour to discover things, and of course it isn't hard to get games, and best of all - no events. Some of the mini games are poor though, and they're lacking some of the fun classics, like Pong, Brickbreak, Tetris etc. But, they usually have a time limit, so these don't fit on. There is no goal or backstory in here. The upside, is that it means that its not hard to follow, but the downside is it lacks story, but then again, I doubt anyone could think of a reason for all this. It has everything from stabbing sushi to Volleyball. Anyway, onto the specifics.

Gameplay:
Pretty good. Minigames are fun, some are kinda whacky, out there and simple.

Graphics:
The graphics are okay, but not as good as some of Nintendo's other games. Being cartoony makes up for this in a way though.

Sound:
Musics kinda whacky, but not very memorable or noticable. I'm not going to give it much here.

Value:
Who can resist a game with 101 games in it? Sure, they maybe minigames, but honestly its worth it. The games are fun and entertaining, and they suit everyone. Everyone, of course will have preferences or opinions. I think it'd be rare for someone not to like a single game on here.

Overall:
I enjoyed it, but as mentioned I'd wish they'd used some classics. I hope some of you guys play this, because it was a fun time.

Great Review

I probably wouldn't have given it the same scores, but then again, I am very strict in all my reviews.

Also the reason why Tetris and other classics wern't included were probably copyrighted.

Extremely well written for your age though
