Real Football 2009 is the first Premium title available on DSiWare. It's practically the same game that was released in 2008, but with more National and International squads. There are six different cups and leagues to choose from, as well as a penalty shoot-out and exhibition modes.

The controls are pretty much what you'd expect from a football title and haven't changed all that much over the past ten years. The DSi camera is put to good use, allowing you to put your own face or anything else you want onto the actual game ball, which is a cool little feature. However, because of the low graphical quality, the pictures are often very difficulty to make out.

What's great about this title is that it's only 800 points and is practically a full-blown handheld football title. There's also a great online Wi-Fi connectability feature so you can play with your mates. The controls are very smooth and fluid, and if you're a football fan looking for a great handheld football title for on-the-go gaming, this is the title for you. It's great value.
